Before moving to Colorado, Jackson received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in English at the University of South Dakota in 2016. During his time at USD, he worked as the student assistant in the Archives Department at I.D. Weeks Library and in the service industry at two different restaurants. Before transferring to USD, he played football for and attended Northern State University, studying history and education while working in the after-school program for the local YMCA. After completing undergraduate studies, Jackson earned his Juris Doctor in 2019 from the University of North Dakota School of Law. During his time at UND, Jackson was an active member of the North Dakota Law Review and succeeded in various trial advocacy competitions, classes, and programs.

While taking classes, Jackson gained experience as the Senior Legal Intern for the Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office working on appeals, trials, and motions in areas of law ranging from criminal prosecution, child support, and parental rights. Upon graduating in 2019, he made his move out to Colorado and served as one of the primary deputy district attorneys in Colorado’s 11th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, representing the state in trial, appellate and traffic court proceedings through the year 2020. 

Beginning in December 2020, Jackson began utilizing his experience in criminal law to assist clients in our law firm, Antommaria Ilevska Elder, and practices in Family Law and Criminal Law. He takes great responsibility and care with clients in these matters, as his experience in the public docket informs his personal beliefs from his life experience that each and every citizen deserves their case to be reviewed for government oversight, overstepping, and overcharging, so that clients have their stories told, while achieving what they believe to be justice, not the government. On the family law side, Jackson has dutifully, successfully, and effectively returned favorable and lasting results for clients and their family for five strong years. Moving into 2025, he is more motivated than ever to get you and your family the result you are seeking, as a collaborative team. Jackson is the Vice President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Larimer County Bar Association, as well as an active member of the Colorado State, Weld County, and Colorado Criminal Defense Bar Associations. 



In his free time, Jackson enjoys hiking along the Poudre or Horsetooth, basketball, and above all, football. Most specifically, he roots for the Miami Dolphins and Florida State Seminoles every time they take the field. Outisde of that, he has an affinity for retro video games and great movies. Among his favorites are Stardew Valley, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, classic Nintendo, and anything Batman or Superman. Most recently, Jackson has discovered the magic, intrigue, and enjoyment of Dungeons & Dragons. For recreational reading, he enjoys ancient history and modern fiction, but do not count out graphic novels. Jackson is the proud owner of a six-year-old Northern Inuit female, Nessah, who accompanies him to work and the trail.
